Having 19.5 micron this yarn is of even higher quality and softer than normal merino (23 micron) or merino fine (21.5 micron). The individual fibres are very fine and extremely crimped, which is why the yarn feels very smooth and, at the same time, is elastic and consistent in form. Because of its specific fibre structure, merino wool provides excellent insulation protection in heat or cold.
The Merino comes from Peru and is mulesing free.
