The origin of the high-quality new wool in this yarn is South America and it is mulesing-free.
Lyocell is an industrially produced regenerated cellulose fibre made from the raw material wood.
Lyocell fibres have a high dry and wet strength, are soft and absorb moisture very well. Textiles made from it
have a smooth and cool handle with a flowing fall and a low tendency to crease.
The Premium Lyocell from Lenzing AG is offered under the name Tencel.
The Tencel fibres are produced by means of an innovative recycling process. They reduce the use of raw materials and energy to a minimum. This leads to an environmentally friendly and resource-saving production.
